Senior Consultant ESG Assurance

What will you do in this position?
As a senior consultant ESG assurance, you will act as a senior team member to ensure the reliability of the ESG information reported by a company, in order to provide confidence to stakeholders such as consumers, shareholders, employees, NGOs, governments and many others with reliable ESG information. You are part of KPMG's Sustainability team consisting of more than 100 ESG specialists, who provide both assurance and advisory services.
Your challenges You work with colleagues from different departments and countries on assignments for multiple international clients. You work together with clients, colleagues and specialists in ESG topics such as CO2 emissions, human rights and biodiversity. You support our clients by assuring that their sustainability information is accurate. You perform interviews with companies to understand their processes and to investigate whether measures are needed to ensure that the information in the report is correct. With the same goal, you go on (site) visits to your clients (possibly in different countries). You act as the linking pin between KPMG and the client whilst maintaining business contact with different stakeholders. You work in teams in which automated web, data and text analysis tools are used to verify the report is an accurate and complete representation of reality.
