  • Associate Professor in Computer Science with focus on Computer Vision The University of St.Gallen is strengthening its degree programs in Computer Science with a new Associate Professorship in the field of Computer Vision. We seek an individual who will direct the creation of a new research group in this context while actively contributing to the further development of the School of Computer Science and building bridges with other disciplines at our university. Successful candidates have a strong research track record in their field and an international recognition in one or several of the topics of the call. They bring sufficient academic maturity and independence, where a track record in industry collaboration as well as in third-party funding is desired. Enthusiasm for teaching and the development of new courses and our curricula is expected to further shape the Computer Science programs at the University of St.Gallen. The university is searching for candidates with a strong research background in one or more of the following topics: Image and Video Analysis Multi-Modal Approaches and Models 3D Computer Vision Object Recognition and Tracking With respect to research, the successful candidate leads cutting-edge research endeavours across various aspects of computer vision and visual perception in a coordinated research portfolio and group. The suc cessful candidate additionally has a track record in applications of computer vision. With respect to teaching, the successful candidate designs and holds courses in the field of computer vision on the Bach elor, Master, and PhD levels; their expertise hence is required to cover traditional computer vision meth ods as well as highly current approaches. The candidate is an active and visible member of the faculty and engages in outreach activities and academic citizenship within the University and globally. We are looking for a team-oriented and committed personality whose research activities offer links to the other research groups at the School of Computer Science, and to institutes and schools across the other research fields that are represented at the University of St.Gallen. The School of Computer Science is growing. Assoziierte Professur für Financial Management (100%) An der Universität St.Gallen und ihrer School of Management ist per 1. Februar 2026 oder nach Vereinbarung eine Assoziierte Professur für Financial Management zu besetzen. Die inhaltliche Ausrichtung der Stelle umfasst einen oder mehrere Kernbereiche der finanziel len Führung: Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing. Der Schwerpunkt der Tätigkeiten liegt in der Lehre im Master in Accounting und Corporate Finance (MACFin), dem mit Abstand grössten Masterprogramm der Universität St.Gallen. Von dem/der zukünftigen Stelleninhaber/in wird erwartet, Lehrveranstaltungen in deutscher und englischer Sprache durchführen zu können. Dabei sollen sowohl innovative Lehrkon zepte im Wahlpflichtbereich angeboten werden, wie auch die Bereitschaft bestehen, langfristig Verantwortung in den Pflichtveranstaltungen des MACFin und im Assessment-Jahr zu über nehmen.   • Associate Professorship in Entrepreneurship / Owner-managed firms (100%) The School of Management at the University of St. Gallen is seeking candidates for an Associate Professorship in the field of entrepreneurship / owner-managed firms per February 1st, 2026, or by mutual agreement. We are looking for a candidate who is able to make important contributions to academia, practice, and society at large in current debates on entrepreneurship / owner-managed firms. The ideal candidate has an internationally recognized track record in research, reflected in multiple publications in leading journals (FT 50), a pipeline of promising research projects, and a strong international academic network. We expect the candidate to be able to teach at all levels (BA, MA, PhD and Executive). The candidate should be a strong teacher who has developed innovative teaching formats and successfully offered them in the past. The teaching load with this full-time position is 8 hours per week during the semester. Experience in the fields of executive education and acquisition of third-party funding are important advantages. We invite the candidate to join the University of St. Gallen's collaborative culture and the team of the Swiss Research Institute of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (KMU-HSG).
